Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta update may be just around the corner. It recently uploaded the first beta build for the Galaxy S24 series to its test server, hinting at an imminent rollout. The company may launch a beta program for the flagship lineup in select countries next week, followed by other models.
Samsung drops major hint at an imminent One UI 7.0 beta rollout
After months of delay, Samsung seems to be finally ready to show One UI 7.0 to the public. A reliable industry insider recently revealed that the company will launch a beta program next week. Another source has now confirmed it. “Yes, the official beta update is ready to roll out next week,” tipster @chunvn8888 posted on X.
They also claimed that Samsung will not include some of the new Galaxy AI features in One UI 7.0 beta. Features like AI summary and AI emoji will arrive with One UI 7.1 early next year. The new version is a relatively minor update expected to ship out of the box in Galaxy S25 phones. Other eligible models will receive it as a separate update later.
In the meantime, Samsung has started preparing for the One UI 7.0 beta rollout. X user and note Samsung tipster Tarun Vats recently spotted the first One UI 7.0 beta build for the Galaxy S24 series on the official test server. The firmware version for the first beta build for Europe and India is ZXKB. It may not may not be different in other regions.
Samsung is expected to launch One UI 7.0 beta in Germany, India, South Korea, the UK, the US, and a few other markets. It’ll kick off the program with the Galaxy S24 series and gradually expand it to other models, including foldables and mid-range devices. Exciting times are ahead for Galaxy users.
