Samsung and KT have unveiled the Galaxy Jump 5, an exclusive smartphone in South Korea. The phone brings Awesome Intelligence (a suite of AI tools), a solid camera system, a faster processor, and more. It is based on the recently launched Galaxy A27 5G.
Here are some of the key features of the Galaxy Jump 5
Samsung’s Galaxy Jump is a series of mid-range smartphones exclusively available in South Korea in collaboration with the local carrier KT. The Galaxy Jump 5 arrives as the successor to last year’s Galaxy Jump 4. It comes in black, light green, and light pink.
The Galaxy Jump 5 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone carries an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. We get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip for faster performance. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Jump 5 with Awesome Intelligence, a suite of AI features previously exclusive to the Galaxy A series. The AI tools include Circle to Search, which lets you circle text or images on the screen to find information. Thanks to Object Eraser, you can remove unwanted objects from photos. Another capability is to convert voice and call recordings into text.
For photography, the Galaxy Jump 5 boasts a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The other rear units are a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. A 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. In the battery segment, a 5,000 mAh cell powers the device, ensuring long-lasting use on a single charge.
The Galaxy Jump 5 carries a retail price of 545,600 won. It will go on sale through KT stores (online and offline) in South Korea starting July 3. If you live in the United States, you can buy the Galaxy A27 5G (on which the Galaxy Jump 5 is based). Samsung will begin selling the phone stateside on July 14, starting at $349.99.
