A bunch of Galaxy phones and tablets have received the latest security patch in the past few days. The Galaxy S24 series also recently began receiving the June 2026 security update, starting with the Snapdragon-powered units in select markets. Now the same update is coming to the Exynos variant in Europe.

Galaxy S24 (Exynos) picks up June 2026 security update

The Galaxy S24 that comes with the Exynos 2400 chipset has begun receiving the latest June 2026 security update in Europe, as confirmed by SammyGuru writer David Buliga. The build version in question is S921BXXSFDZF2, and the update weighs 322.75MB in size.

As it’s recommended, you should ensure your phone is connected to a stable network and charged at least 50% to avoid any errors midway. Once these boxes are ticked, you can head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update file is downloaded, tap Install now. The installation will take some time, post which your device will reboot, running the latest security update.

The latest June 2026 security update brings along fixes for as many as 45 vulnerabilities. It’s therefore recommended that you install the update right away and save your device from running into potential issues. You should always install new security patches on your Galaxy.

Do not expect any new features with the Juns 20926 release, though. This update is all about security fixes. Samsung recently rolled out One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S24 series globally, introducing a myriad of new features and improvements, enhancing the overall experience. The S24 lineup is also eligible for One UI 9, which arrives later this year. The Android 17-based update will bring more features to the devices. Stay tuned.
