Galaxy M15 finally receives One UI 8.5 stable update
Samsung has started rolling out the Android 16 QPR2-based One UI 8.5 stable update to the Galaxy M15. The update is currently live in South Korea, which means it may take some time to reach other regions. The build version is M156SKSU8DZE4 (as spotted by SammyGuru’s Mohammed Khatri).
Users in Korea can go ahead and install the update right away. To do so, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update file is downloaded, tap Install now. The installation will take some time, after which the device will be running the latest One UI 8.5 stable update.
The update also includes the May 2026 security patch, which fixes a total of 39 vulnerabilities. This comprises 29 issues identified by Google and 10 specific to Galaxy devices. It addresses critical and zero-click vulnerabilities, improving overall device security and system stability.
