One UI 8.5 Live for Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Others; Global Release for Galaxy A25, A54

Samsung appears to have completed the One UI 8.5 rollout for most of its flagship and foldable devices globally. The company’s focus has now shifted to mid-range phones and tablets. Recently, Samsung released the update for the Galaxy F54, Galaxy M06, Galaxy F06, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Additionally, it kicked off a global rollout of the update for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A25.
Galaxy F54, M06, F06 and Tab S6 Lite join One UI 8.5 rollout
Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy F54 in markets such as India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, following the Galaxy M54, which received the update earlier this week. The update arrives with firmware version E546BXXUCFZE5.
Samsung has also made One UI 8.5 stable live for the Galaxy M06 and Galaxy F06. The former is receiving the update in India with build number M066BXXU6CZE6, while the latter is getting build number E066BXXU6CZE6 in India and Sri Lanka.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is another new device to join the One UI 8.5 rollout today. Samsung is pushing the update in markets like Europe, Thailand, and Vietnam, where users are getting the build version P625XXUACZE8 (LTE). Interestingly, the device does not see a bump in the fourth-last character of the build number. For those unaware, Samsung usually changes the letter to the next alphabet with each new feature update. We recently noticed a similar situation with the Galaxy Tab A11 as well.
Besides these releases, Samsung has started rolling out One UI 8.5 globally for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A25. Both devices are now receiving the update in India, Turkey, and several other markets with build versions A546EXXUJFZE9 and A256EXXUCEZE6, respectively. Sadly, there is still no news regarding the Galaxy A34’s global rollout. So, the update remains limited to South Korea for now.
If you own any of the devices mentioned above, you can check for the One UI 8.5 update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
