The Galaxy A57, Galaxy A06, Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro are now receiving the May 2026 security update.

The May 2026 security update lands on more Galaxy phones

Across regions, Samsung is pushing the May 2026 security update, and the latest batch includes the Galaxy A57, Galaxy A06, Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. For the first two, the updates are rolling out in Malaysia and India, respectively. The build versions are A576BXXS2AZE2 and A066BXXS6BZE1.

As for the last two phones, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, the May 2026 security update is rolling out in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia for the former, and Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia for the latter. The build versions are G766BXXS7BZE2 and G736BXXSCGZE2, respectively.

For those unfamiliar, the May 2026 security update includes patches for 39 vulnerabilities across Android and One UI, including two critical and 27 high-severity issues from the Android Security Bulletin. It also fixes 10 Samsung-specific SVEs, addressing flaws such as arbitrary code execution, data exposure, and improper permissions.

If you have any of these phones and are in the mentioned regions, you can check whether you’ve received the latest security update. To do that, head to Settings > Software update. If an update is available, tap Download and install, then tap Install now. Your phone will reboot with the latest security update.
