Samsung has been rolling out beta updates in full swing today, and several Galaxy phones have already received the second round of the One UI 8.5 beta. It now looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has also started receiving One UI 8.5 beta 2.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 starts picking up One UI 8.5 beta 2 in Korea

As spotted by Alfatürk on X, Samsung is now rolling out One UI 8.5 beta 2 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The rollout is currently limited to Korea. As such, you can expect it to reach other eligible regions in the coming days, likely quite soon. The build version is F731NKSU6ZZDN, and the update size is 764.73 MB.

Below, you can take a look at the One UI 8.5 beta 2 changelog for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (machine-translated from Korean):

  • Improved low speaker call volume and poor audio quality during driving
  • Fixed an issue where contact image and information were not displayed when making a call to a saved contact
  • Fixed subtext error under the “Show brief pop-ups even when the screen is off” menu
  • Fixed screen transition issue after saving a contact while the folder (cover) is closed
  • Fixed operational error when launching the Camera app

If you’re in Korea with a Galaxy Z Flip 5 and have already joined the One UI 8.5 beta program, you can head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Wait for the file to download, after which you can tap Install now. Soon, your device will boot up running the latest beta update.
