The Galaxy A54, A55, and A56 received the update earlier. Now, Samsung has started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to their predecessor, the Galaxy A53. The update carries build version A536NKSSGGZD1 and is currently live in South Korea. As expected, it should expand to more regions soon.

Samsung has also begun rolling out the update for its 2022 and 2023 foldables. The Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are now getting the April 2026 security update in Korea. The update brings the build numbers F936NKSS7IZCS, F721NKSS7IZCS, F946NKSS6FZCS, and F731NKSS6FZCS, respectively.

In the tablet lineup, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra have also received the update in Korea. The build numbers for 5G models are X826NKOS7CZD3 and X926NKOS7CZD3. Interestingly, the newer Galaxy Tab S11 lineup has not received the update yet.

The April 2026 security patch does not bring any new features. It mainly focuses on improving system security and overall stability. The update includes fixes for 47 security vulnerabilities identified by Samsung, Google, and their partners.

If you are using any of these devices in South Korea, you can check for the April update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once downloaded, tap Install now. Users in other regions can expect to receive this update before the end of this month.
