One UI 6.1.1 Rolls Out to Galaxy S23, Fold 5 & Flip 5 Globally

Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 update is rolling out to more Galaxy devices globally. The Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are picking up the update widely in Europe and India. Users in the US and other parts of the world should receive it soon. The new One UI version will also roll out to the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 series globally in the coming days.

Galaxy S23, Fold 5 & Flip 5 get One UI 6.1.1 in more markets

Last week, Samsung released the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series in South Korea. The company was expected to roll out the update globally this week, and it has. We can confirm the availability of the new One UI version for the 2023 S and Z series flagships in Europe and India. A wider rollout is expected soon.

The One UI 6.1.1 update for the global Galaxy Z Fold 5 version bears the firmware build number F946BXXU3DXH7. That for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is F731BXXU3DXH9. The Galaxy S23 series is receiving the same update with the build number S91*BXXU6CXH7. The OTA (over the air) download package weighs slightly under 3GB, though it varies depending on the device model and region.

This update has a lot to talk about. Samsung is pushing new AI features, camera enhancements, gallery improvements, and tons of other goodies. One UI 6.1.1 has already been rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series globally. Other eligible models, including the Galaxy S22 series, should follow in the coming days. Samsung will also soon roll out the September security patch to more devices. We expect the company to shift the focus to One UI 7.0 once One UI 6.1.1 is out of the way. Stay tuned for more updates.
