Galaxy A26 5G Picks Up One UI 8 Update in Vietnam

Samsung has been rolling out the One UI 8 update to several devices recently. Earlier today, the Galaxy Tab S10 series began receiving One UI 8. Now, we’ve learned that Samsung is also rolling out the Android 16–based One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy A26 5G.

Galaxy A26 5G starts receiving the One UI 8 update in Vietnam

Spotted by regular updates tracker Mohammed Khatri, the Galaxy A26 5G has now picked up the One UI 8 stable update in Vietnam. Now that One UI 8 has already been rolled out for the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26, the next device to receive it should be the Galaxy A16.

The build version in question, as shared by Khatri, is A266BXXU4BYI2. We don’t have many details at this time, but you can check for yourself whether the One UI 8 update is available for your Galaxy A26. To do this, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If an update is available, tap Install and let it take its time.

The wait for One UI 8.5 now begins

One UI 8 brings a host of new features, and you’ll likely enjoy using it on your device. There are also a few hidden features you may want to try. At the same time, Samsung is also preparing One UI 8.5, which will debut with the Galaxy S26 series launching early next year.
