The Galaxy S25 Edge doesn’t give you a massive battery

It should come as no surprise, but the Galaxy S25 Edge packs a relatively small battery. We are talking about a typical capacity of 3,900mAh and a rated battery capacity of 3,786mAh. That number makes the Galaxy S25 Edge the lowest in the S25 lineup when it comes to battery capacity. For comparison, the regular Galaxy S25 comes with 4,000mAh, while the S25+ and S25 Ultra pack in 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh, respectively.

While Samsung claims a similar battery life to the base S25, we aren’t quite sure about it. Not only does the S25 have a bigger unit, but it also features a smaller display (6.2 inches vs. 6.7 inches). We have already had a chance to play with the S25 Edge, and its battery life looks like a weak link in an otherwise decent phone — the lack of a zoom camera can also be a dealbreaker for many.
