Samsung Keyboard’s AI Suggestions on Galaxy S25 Can Help If You Run Out of Replies

The Galaxy S25 series is now available and hitting store shelves. You can go and buy your choice from the Galaxy S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra. The phones come equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and offer several AI features, many of which Samsung didn’t even emphasize during the Galaxy Unpacked event. Fortunately, someone shared a helpful AI feature in the Samsung Keyboard for the Galaxy S25 that assists with WhatsApp replies and more.

Samsung Keyboard’s AI suggestions on Galaxy S25 are here, but only work with WhatsApp for now

As spotted by Android Authority‘s Mishaal Rahman, it’s called “Suggested replies”. It’s built into the Samsung Keyboard to make messaging even easier. It uses on-device AI to suggest responses to your messages, saving you the trouble of typing everything out. As Mishaal reports, you can find it under Settings > Advanced features > Labs on your Galaxy S25. Once enabled, it will offer AI-powered replies when you receive a message, but only if you’re using the Samsung Keyboard. If you prefer Gboard or another keyboard, you won’t be able to use it, at least for now.

Right now, Samsung Keyboard’s AI suggestion on Galaxy S25 only works with WhatsApp, but Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed support for other messaging apps. In screenshots shared by Mishaal Rahman, the description reads, “Get AI-powered suggested replies to chat and text messages you receive, provided by Samsung Keyboard.” It also adds that the “messages are processed on your phone to provide suggested replies.”

One thing I like here is that Samsung’s AI model runs fully on-device, which means your messages aren’t sent anywhere. This keeps things private but might also limit the feature to flagship devices. The former is a good thing, in my opinion. But I hope Samsung also expands this to more Galaxy devices so everyone can enjoy it.
