In any case, we’re still months away from the Galaxy S26 series launch, but excitement is already building among fans. Some of that is thanks to early leaks and fan-made renders of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which might impress you, I think.

Check out this fan-made Galaxy S26 Ultra render!

A new fan-made render shared on r/SamsungGalaxy via u/BHJ-AL imagines the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a redesigned oval-shaped camera module. This marks a clear departure from the minimalist ring-based layout we’ve seen on recent Galaxy flagships. Before you get too excited, it is neither a leak nor based on insider info. Just a fan creation, but a pretty impressive one.

Galaxy S26 Ultra fan-based render

The render seems inspired by the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. As you can see, it features that familiar boxy shape with rounded corners, but the symmetrical oval camera housing would be a fresh twist. Honestly, I’m kind of liking it.

User reactions are mixed, though. Some think it’s a cool mash-up of Samsung’s budget and flagship styles, while others call it ugly. Plenty agree Samsung should ditch the endless shades of gray and bring back bold colors. I’m with them on that, especially since the blue shade is clearly winning the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 pre-orders.

Leaker Ice Universe chimed in separately on X, sharing what he thinks. According to him, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a much-improved main camera with a larger aperture, plus better low-light zoom thanks to an upgraded 5x periscope lens. But that could mean the camera bump gets even bigger, around 3mm thick, even as the phone itself gets thinner.

Other rumors include faster charging, a bigger battery, and a possible return of the Exynos chip, though early benchmarks haven’t been promising. Yet, this mix of modest design tweaks and solid spec boost could make the Galaxy S26 Ultra a genuinely compelling update.
