Samsung and Spotify Partner to Bring The Ringer Channel on TV Plus

Samsung TV Plus has launched its first-ever FAST channel in partnership with Spotify, featuring The Ringer’s popular video podcasts. You can access the channel across a range of devices, including Samsung TVs, Galaxy Tabs and phones, Smart Monitors, and Family Hub screens.

Per announcement, the channel will showcase a curated lineup of The Ringer’s shows, including The Rewatchables, Higher Learning with Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay, Speidi’s 16th Minute, Book of Basketball 2.0, The Big Picture, The Ringer-Verse, The Dave Chang Show, The Recipe Club, and House of R. This collection offers something for every viewer, from sports and pop culture to food and lifestyle.

Salek Brodsky, Samsung TV Plus’s Senior VP and Global Head, said the partnership makes “the biggest screen in the home becomes a stage for podcasting’s boldest video programming to come to life” and continues Samsung’s mission to “what television can be, opening up an entirely new dimension of entertainment for audiences to explore.”

Meanwhile, Geoff Chow, Spotify’s Head of Podcast Studios and Managing Director of The Ringer, said: “Bringing The Ringer to Samsung TV Plus is an exciting evolution—expanding our reach and allowing audiences to engage with our content in new ways.”

Moreover, Samsung TV Plus is offering free Halloween movies, available only until the end of this month. In recent days, the platform has added a couple of new additions. That includes Billboard TV for 24/7 music streaming and Best of Late Night with David Letterman.
