Dhar Mann Studios brings new series to Samsung TV Plus
Samsung TV Plus is available on Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, and Smart Monitors. The platform offers live TV channels and on-demand content without any subscription fees (supported by ads). Unlikely Romances is its upcoming first original scripted series, whose trailer is now out. It’s about love stories that happen where people least expect them.
Dhar Mann Studios, an audience-first global entertainment company, has created and produced the series. Creator Dhar Mann serves as the writer and executive producer. He is one of the world’s most popular storytellers, with over 170 million followers and about 300 million weekly views across platforms.
This is an anthology series, meaning each episode features a separate story. There are a total of four episodes in the first installment. The series will premiere on June 5 at 9 PM ET, with new episodes released weekly through June 26. It will stream on the Samsung Television Network (STN) and the Dhar Mann TV channel. Both are part of the Samsung TV Plus platform.
As a result, the series will be available to viewers in the US and in several global markets. These include Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.
“Unlikely Romances builds on what our audience has always connected with most: emotional stories that make people feel seen, understood, and hopeful,” says Dhar Mann. “To become the first creator-led company to develop original scripted content for Samsung TV Plus is an incredible milestone for our studio. We’re excited to bring our style of uplifting, audience-first storytelling into a new format and share it with viewers around the world.”
