Samsung recently released a new Good Lock module, Game Booster+. The company is also rumored to be working on a Now Bar module. It has now announced another ongoing development, a Home Up variant for large-screen services such as foldables and tablets.

Good Lock consists of more than 20 modules, each used to customize specific UI elements on Galaxy devices. Home Up lets you personalize your home screen, home screen animations, task changer, and more. With One UI 7.0, Samsung introduced a DIY Home function that takes home screen customizations to the next level. You can create a unique look with no restrictions for icon size and position.
Samsung says this update was primarily designed for regular, vertical smartphone screens. While we haven’t noticed any major issues with DIY Home on foldables — we have been using the feature on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 — the company plans to launch a Home Up module tailored for larger screens.
This upcoming module will introduce a new “Cover Screen Mirroring” feature, which seemingly lets users mirror the home screen layout across the two screens. Samsung adds that the Good Lock team has had many internal discussions regarding this feature and they are currently finalizing its implementation. The plan is to release the new Home Up for foldables and tablets before the end of March, or in early April.
This will be the 23rd global Good Lock module — if we count it separately from the existing Home Up for smartphones. The aforementioned Game Booster+ isn’t available globally but only in South Korea. Samsung also restricts a few more Good Lock modules to its home country, including Galaxy to Share. It’s unclear if it plans to roll out these customization tools to Galaxy users in the rest of the world.
