It’s been over a week since Samsung rolled out the One UI 8 beta to its 2024 Galaxy flagships. Naturally, that points to the company putting the finishing touches on One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series. And sure enough, that seems to be the case. A tipster has spotted a fresh beta build on Samsung’s test servers.

One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series shouldn’t take long

Reliable tipster Tarun Vats caught wind of the new build for the Galaxy S24 lineup, which could very well be One UI 8 Beta 2. This hints that the second wave of the beta might be just around the corner for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The build number, which might turn out to be One UI 8 Beta 2 for the trio, is S928BXXU4ZYH9. For comparison, the current One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S24 series ends with ZYH3.

What new features the next beta will bring to Samsung’s 2024 flagships is still up in the air. Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S24 series will get Now Brief. But it’s noticeably missing in the current One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S24 trio.

Whether the upcoming beta includes it or not remains to be seen, though many users are keeping their fingers crossed. Another missing feature is instant audio eraser. On the bright side, Adaptive lock screen clock and wallpaper image suggestions have already made their way into the current beta.

So far, the One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S24 series is only available in the US, the UK, India, and Korea. Whether more regions will be added is something the next update should make clear. Hopefully, more regions get access. Stay tuned.
