We all know that Samsung will deliver the One UI 7 update to its smartphones much later than expected. The first beta version of the new firmware is expected to hit the existing flagship devices in December. The new update will arrive with the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025. Ahead of the wider rollout, the company is preparing its in-house apps to support the new One UI 7. The latest app from the brand to get support for One UI 7 is Samsung Home Up.
Samsung Home Up app receives a new update with support for One UI 7
According to a report, Samsung has updated its Home Up module in its Good Lock app. The new upgrade brings support for the upcoming One UI 7 update. The newest developments come with version 16.0.00.1 of the app. Essentially, the Samsung Home Up app will be ready just in time to support the One UI 7 update and its interface. Samsung seems to be making sure that the Home Up app supports the upcoming iteration of its custom Android skin.
Apart from the support for UI 7, the newer version of Samsung Home Up brings minor fixes to improve the overall performance. Notably, you will only see these changes after upgrading from version 15.0 to version 16.0 of the app. In case the latest version of the Samsung Home Up hasn’t reached your device, you can also do a manual check. You can do this by opening the Good Lock app on your phone, and then searching for the Home Up module. Then simply follow the instructions on the screen to go ahead.
For the uninitiated, the Home Up application is one of the best tools to customize your Samsung phone’s home screen. It offers a comprehensive suite of options to let you change the look and appeal of your device’s home screen. We are quite excited to see how Samsung changes the final look and appeal of the upcoming version with the One UI 7 update.
