The launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE lineup seems imminent, as official renders and specs sheets have already leaked. Now, the South Korean giant has obtained approval for its upcoming tablets from several regulatory agencies. The base model recently received certification from FCC and SGS Fimko.

FCC and SGS Fimko certify the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet

If you are unaware, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE lineup will include two Android tablets — the Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+. Both will arrive as affordable alternatives to the  Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra released in October last year. While Samsung has yet to announce a launch date, or even a vague timeline, folks over at Xpertpick have spotted a couple of new certification listings for the base model.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE appeared in the FCC certification database with model numbers SM-X528U (US variant) and SM-X526B (global variant). Both model numbers correspond to the 5G versions of the tablet. The listing confirms that the device supports Wi-Fi 6 and a wide range of 5G bands. The certification also reveals support for SD card, S Pen, and 45W fast charging.

In addition to FCC, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE has also received a certificate from SGS Fimko with model numbers SM-X526B, SM-X526E, SM-X526N, and SM-X528U. The certification reveals that a Wi-Fi-only edition of the tablet with model number SM-X520 is also on the way. The rated battery capacity of the tablet is 7,760mAh, with support for 45W fast charging, which the FCC corroborated.

Previous reports already revealed Galaxy Tab S10 FE’s specifications, which include the Exynos 1580 chipset, a 10.9-inch display with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels, a 12MP front camera, and a 13MP rear camera. Samsung is expected to unveil the new tablets in the coming months.
