Samsung recently released an update for the Galaxy Enhance-X app, introducing new features like Motion Clipper and enhancing the Camera Shift functionality. The update also expanded camera shift support to more devices following its debut on the Galaxy S24 series. The company recently took to its official community forum to explain these features and reveal the list of supported devices.
Galaxy Enhance-X’s Camera Shift now available for more Galaxy devices
Motion Clipper is a brand-new addition to the Galaxy Enhance-X app. It allows users to create GIFs from motion photos. If your phone supports motion photos, the app’s Motion Clipper feature automatically detects them and converts them into GIFs. Users can customize the size and frame rate of the GIF, then save and share it directly from the app.
This feature is available on recent flagship Galaxy models running One UI 6.1.1 or higher. The list includes the Galaxy S24, S23, S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5 & Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 5 & Flip 4, and the Galaxy Tab S9 & Tab S8 series. Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and Tab S10 are missing. Samsung may extend support for them soon.
The Camera Shift function within Galaxy Enhance-X, meanwhile, is now available for a host of other devices. Alongside the aforementioned models, it works on the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 3, Flip 3, and Tab S10 series running One UI 6.1.1 or higher. The feature allows users to virtually adjust the camera height in a photo.
Additionally, Galaxy Enhance-X offers features like Colorization, which uses AI to add suitable colors to black-and-white or grayscale images. Single Take integration allows users to view, save, and share Single Take images directly from within the app. Last but not least, the app lets you seamlessly edit videos. The latest update for Galaxy Enhance-X is now available globally.
