Samsung has released a new update for Pentastic, the Good Lock module for customizing the S Pen Air Command menu, pointer, and sound. The new version (v2.3.08) lets you set a custom icon for the Air Command floating button. This update is rolling out to users globally.
New Pentastic update lets you customize the Air Command floating button
Pentastic is part of Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite for Galaxy devices that support the S Pen. The latest update for this app lets you customize the floating icon for the Air Command menu. You can select files saved on your phone as the icon for the floating button. There are no additional presets, though.
Besides the newly added custom floating icon, Pentastic lets you customize the Air Command menu. You can select from multiple layouts for the Air Command, the floating menu that appears when you take the S Pen out of the phone. Additionally, you can customize the S Pen pointer, sound, and the double-tap shortcut. You can choose what happens when you hold down the S Pen button and double tap the screen with its tip.
As mentioned above, you can only create a custom floating icon for the S Pen Air Command button. Unlike the Air Command menu, pointer, and sound, Samsung doesn’t offer multiple built-in options for the floating icon. Maybe it plans to introduce additional presets with another update at a later date.
As of this writing, we have received the Pentastic v2.3.08 update only on select devices. The new version should soon reach users globally — you can download the app from the Galaxy Store. This update also addresses bugs for enhanced stability on One UI 7.0 devices. So, if you have been experiencing crashes or any other issues with Pentastic, you might want to install this version right away.
