Samsung Debuts a “Magnetic Wallet” for the Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 trio brings support for Qi2-Ready, meaning they’re adopting the Qi 2.1 standard. This new Qi standard lets smartphones transfer magnets to other accessories. And ahead of the Galaxy S25 series hitting the shelves, Samsung has already launched several Qi2-Ready accessories, including cases and a new Magnetic Wallet.

Samsung has launched a “Magnetic Wallet” for the Galaxy S25 phones

The Magnetic Wallet accessory for the Galaxy S25 series is now officially listed (h/t 9to5Google). The listing page shows a “Notify me” button, meaning the product isn’t available for purchase just yet. The publication doesn’t mention when it will be available, but it does claim Samsung is “shipping this wallet now,” and it should arrive alongside the pre-order Galaxy S25 phones, which could be as early as Thursday, January 30.

According to the listing, it’s currently available for $14.99. But our friends at 9to5Google say it will sell for $29.99. The $14.99 price tag is a decent deal, especially for a first-party official accessory. The wallet comes in a sleek black finish, so there are no color options for now. However, Samsung may offer more shades down the line.

From the product shots, it looks like you can easily fit 2-3 cards. On the back, there’s a ring for sticking it to the phone. Interestingly, there’s no Samsung branding visible, at least in the images, except for a “Made in China” label on the back, which will anyway be hidden when attached to the phone.

So are you a fan of magnetic wallets for your phone to get more wallet real-estate? For what it’s worth, these are super handy if you’re not a fan of carrying a full wallet around. Just slide in your most important cards—ID, credit cards, or anything else—and you’re good to go without the bulk.
