In August 2025, Samsung unveiled its first Micro RGB TV with a massive 115-inch screen. The company has now announced that it will expand the lineup to include multiple screen sizes in 2026. This means more premium TV buyers will be able to experience the cutting-edge display technology in homes of different sizes.

Samsung makes Micro RGB TVs more accessible with new screen options

The 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup will be available in 55-, 65-, 75-, 85-, 100-, and 115-inch class models. This could allow Samsung to position Micro RGB as a wider premium option instead of a niche showcase product. “By expanding the lineup for 2026, we’re establishing a new premium category with sizes that span the full range of modern living spaces while maintaining our highest picture standards,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics.

Building on the current 115-inch model, the new Micro RGB TV lineup offers improved picture performance across color, clarity, and style. For the uninitiated, Micro RGB technology uses microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs that emit their own light independently. These LEDs are smaller than 100 micrometers, allowing the display architecture to offer ultra-precise light control and accurate color reproduction.

For the 2026 lineup, Samsung uses a next-generation AI chipset with Micro RGB AI Engine Pro. This lets the chipset analyze content frame by frame to improve sharpness and motion in real time. Likewise, 4K AI Upscaling Pro helps improve lower-resolution content, while AI Motion Enhancer Pro delivers smoother visuals during fast-moving scenes.

Furthermore, Micro RGB TVs feature Micro RGB Precision Color 100, which achieves 100% coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. This shows Samsung’s strong focus on delivering lifelike and consistent image quality. The TVs also include the company’s proprietary Glare Free technology, which reduces reflections from lights while preserving contrast and color.

On the audio side, Micro RGB TVs feature a bunch of improved audio features, including Dolby Atmos, Adaptive Sound Pro, and Q-Symphony. Samsung says it will showcase the expanded Micro RGB TV lineup at CES 2026.
