Samsung has started rolling out a big update to its Gaming Hub app for Galaxy phones and tablets. The company says the platform already sees massive usage each month. Therefore, it’s now pushing it as the main place to manage and discover mobile games on Galaxy devices.

With this update, Gaming Hub now pulls in the full Galaxy Store game catalog, letting users browse and install titles without opening another app. Samsung has also changed the layout of the hub, making it more focused on recently played games and suggestions based on past activity.

Samsung adds built-in game videos to Gaming Hub on Galaxy devices

Instead of showing the same charts and promotions to everyone, the app now adapts its recommendations to what you actually play. Samsung is also adding built-in video content tied to specific games. Players will see clips, walkthroughs, and creator content related to titles in their library. All of these should make it easier to check out gameplay before downloading something new.

The company says this is only the first step in a broader overhaul. Later updates are planned to introduce profile features, better tracking of in-game activity, and tools that let players engage with others around the games they care about. The updated Gaming Hub is now rolling out globally to Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

For now, the changes mostly improve how games are found and explored, not how they are played. The real test will come with the next wave of updates. The company said it will be adding social features and deeper profiles that could give players a reason to actually return to the hub. In a statement, Samsung’s Vice President of Game Services, Jong Woo, said:

“Mobile game discovery is broken. Convoluted interfaces and overly promotional content make it harder for players to find the games that match their interests. With this update to the Samsung Mobile Gaming Hub, we’re addressing these pain points and offering a frictionless, organic, and personalized discovery experience. By surfacing content based on genuine preferences, we’re creating a more intuitive and engaging way for players to explore, watch, and enjoy their favorite games from one entry point.”
