Samsung Announces New Galaxy Club Program for Galaxy S25 Series

by | Jan 22, 2025 | Galaxy S, News

At Galaxy Unpacked in San Jose, Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy S25 series. Apart from the new phones, teasing the Galaxy S25 Slim… err Edge, Android XR, and more, Samsung had a special announcement to make. Samsung introduced the New Galaxy Club early upgrade program in the US.

The Galaxy Club Early Program for Galaxy S25 series starts for as low as $6.20 per month

You can join the New Galaxy Club for as low as $6.20 per month for the Galaxy S25. Prices vary by model, so for the Galaxy S25 Ultra or S25+, it’s $8.33 per month. With this membership, you’ll be able to upgrade to the latest Galaxy device after just 12 months.

Here’s how it works: Samsung will either cover your remaining payments or give you a 50% trade-in credit based on the phone’s MSRP when you decide to upgrade. Plus, new members get a bonus — a free year of Samsung Care+ for repair coverage. However, it doesn’t cover theft or loss. In all fairness, it’s a pretty solid deal.

New Galaxy Club early upgrade program is only available to customers who buy a new Galaxy S25 directly from Samsung. This means no carrier-locked phones or purchases through carrier-financed plans will offer the same.

After completing 12 monthly payments, you’re eligible to upgrade early to the latest Galaxy model. The upgrade process depends on how you paid for your phone. If you financed it through Samsung, the company will pay off the remaining balance when you trade in your device. If you paid upfront or in four installments, Samsung will offer a 50% trade-in credit of the original price after 12 months, which you can apply to your next device.

Your monthly fee will continue until you either upgrade or cancel the program. But keep in mind, the trade-in values are different when you upgrade through this program—standard trade-in values don’t apply.
