The One UI 7 delay saga doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. If you follow our coverage regularly, you might already know that Samsung is possibly planning more beta rounds before the One UI 7 stable version is ready. This is despite the fact that Samsung closed beta participation for the Galaxy S24 series last month.
Now, a new comment from Samsung India’s Beta team suggests that this might be the final round of One UI 7.0 beta tests. If that means anything, the stable update could be coming “very soon.” I’m not saying that. It’s actually a comment from a moderator on Samsung, which seems pretty official.
Samsung’s One UI 7 stable might be coming “very soon”
In a post on the Samsung Community, a moderator from the India Beta Team (via Android Authority) confirmed the update, announcing, “[One] UI 7 stable update will be released very soon.” How soon? They didn’t specify, but it sounds like this “very soon” could mean about a month. So, we might see the One UI 7 stable update in March or April — though that’s just an assumption.
To be honest, a Samsung forum moderator announcing this is promising news. But the wording of the announcement is a bit clunky, which has me second-guessing things. However, it’s worth noting that the India Beta Team’s previous announcement about the One UI 7 beta 3 release timeline was spot on.
I dug a bit to take a look at the moderator’s profile, and the last time they mentioned an update was coming “very soon” was three weeks ago. If that holds true, we could see the One UI 7.0 stable version hitting eligible devices, starting with the Galaxy S24 series, in just a few weeks. Moreover, whether you’re running the One UI 7.0 beta version or haven’t enrolled in beta, everyone will receive One UI 7.0 stable update simultaenously.
