Samsung’s highly anticipated One UI 7.0 beta faces further delays, leaving eager Galaxy users waiting indefinitely for the update. Multiple tipsters have confirmed that the update isn’t arriving anytime soon. Some have even hinted at a long delay, possibly pushing its release to September. The company allegedly has a lot of issues to resolve before opening beta programs.
One UI 7.0 beta faces further delays as Samsung can’t fix bugs
One UI 7.0 will bring Android 15 to Galaxy devices. Google is expected to announce the public release of the new Android version alongside the Pixel 9 series on August 13. Ideally, Samsung should have opened beta programs for the big update before its release, but it’s looking unlikely this year. Tipsters say One UI 7.0 beta has been delayed indefinitely because of bugs and stability issues.
“The latest situation of One UI 7 Beta: There are still no plans to launch it in the near future,” reputed tipster Ice Universe recently said. Quoting the X post, Max Jambor added, “Samsung is having a lot off [sic] issues with One UI 7.” Chun Bhai, the primary source of One UI 7.0 leaks so far, chipped in saying that the beta program “has been delayed indefinitely last week.”
Responding to a user asking if we can expect the first beta update sometime in August, Chun Bhai said they have “low confidence” about it. Samsung seems to be struggling to fix the bugs and stability issues that tipsters have been reporting about since last month. Initial rumors said the beta program will open on July 29. Later, we heard that Samsung had delayed it until the third week of August.
The latest developments suggest One UI 7.0 beta is still several weeks away. This might eventually delay the stable update. The stable release could be delayed to late November if the beta program doesn’t go live in August. Hopefully, Samsung will sort out the issues quickly and let users get a taste of the big update soon. Expect more leaks and rumors in the coming weeks.
