Samsung continues to roll out its November 2025 security patch for eligible Galaxy devices. The latest batch of updates is now reaching the Galaxy M56, Galaxy M17, Galaxy F17, and Galaxy Tab S11 series. These updates are part of the company’s effort to keep its devices secure from newly spotted vulnerabilities.

More Galaxy devices join the November 2025 security update rollout

In India, three Galaxy M and F series smartphones have begun picking up this month’s security patch. The Galaxy M56 carries the firmware version M566BXXS4BYK2, while the Galaxy M17 bears M176BXXS3BYJ1. Likewise, the update for Galaxy F17 comes with the firmware version E176BXXS3BYJ1. As always, the builds only include the latest security enhancements, meaning you won’t see any new features.

Meanwhile, Samsung has also begun pushing the latest security patch to the Galaxy Tab S11 series in South Korea. It carries the firmware version X930XXS3AYJ3, focusing on security improvements. The company should make the update available globally, including in the US, in the coming weeks.

Speaking of the November 2025 security patch, it addresses 45 security vulnerabilities from Samsung, Google, and other partners. Key fixes include an out-of-bounds write issue in the fingerprint trustlet and an insecure default configuration in the USB connection mode.

If you own any of these models and want to check whether the update lands on your device, you can do so easily. Just head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update shows up on your screen, tap Install now. Note that your device will reboot so the patch applies successfully.

Surprisingly, Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone models have not yet picked up the November 2025 patch. Devices such as the Galaxy S25 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 remain on the older patch for now. While the company has not shared a reason for the delay, the update for these devices should roll out soon.
