Leaked Galaxy Tab S10 Keyboard Images Show Off Galaxy AI Button

A few weeks ago, leaked imagery showed a dedicated Galaxy AI button on Samsung’s keyboard covers for the Galaxy Tab S10. As the new flagship tablets near launch — expected to debut on September 26 — more images have leaked to give us a better look at the AI button as well as the devices.

Galaxy Tab S10 series leaked in new images, revealing the AI button

The folks over at Ytechb secured dozens of images showing the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra alongside their keyboard accessories. Samsung has prepared the Book Cover Keyboard in White and Black and the Slim Book Cover Keyboard in Black (or at least only the White variant has leaked). With the official launch expected on September 26, we should find out soon.

As you can see, the slim keyboard lacks a touchpad. The keyboard layout is otherwise the same across the two models, including the positioning of the all-new Galaxy AI button. It sits on the bottom line, to the right of the space bar (there’s one more key between them). Samsung didn’t create extra space for the AI button. Instead, it removed the “Lang” key to make way for it.

The outgoing key lets you quickly switch the input language. We are still awaiting information on what the AI key precisely does. However, it should function similarly to the newly added Copilot key on Windows PCs. It launches Microsoft’s AI chatbot, Copilot. Samsung probably plans to let Galaxy Tab S10 users bring up their favorite Galaxy AI tools at the press of a button.

The Korean firm is only releasing two flagship tablets this year. There is no base model, only the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra. Neither model offers major upgrades, with Samsung focusing on refining the experience. Expect more AI features, among other things. Well, the addition of a Galaxy AI key is already a massive giveaway. Stay tuned for the official launch next week. The Galaxy S24 FE may accompany the new tablets.
