This Watch Face Brings Live FIFA World Cup 2026 Scores to Your Galaxy Watch

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is officially underway, and millions of football fans around the world are keeping a close eye on every match. To help Galaxy Watch users stay connected to the action, Facer and Citizen have launched Kick It, a free Wear OS watch face that brings live World Cup scores, standings, match schedules, and team stats directly to the wrist.
Now Bar on Galaxy phones also now offers animated goal celebrations and enhanced match visuals.
A watch face designed around live World Cup action
Rather than simply displaying team colors or logos, Kick It brings live tournament information directly to the watch face, turning a smartwatch into a real-time match companion. It leverages Citizen’s Riiiver platform to deliver licensed FIFA World Cup 2026 data straight to compatible Wear OS smartwatches, including Samsung’s Galaxy Watch models.
After selecting a favorite national team, users can view a range of World Cup information directly from their wrist, including:
- Upcoming and live match headlines
- Team colors and national flag
- Next scheduled fixture
- Live scores and match status
- Group standings
- Team rankings and tournament records
- Opponent rankings and performance statistics
The watch face automatically adapts its appearance to match the selected team’s colors, creating a more personalized experience while keeping key match information front and center.
Facer and Citizen have also added a fun feature aimed at recreating some of the excitement of match day. Using Facer’s Face Chime functionality, Kick It plays the famous “Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole” crowd chant at the start of every hour. While it won’t replace the atmosphere of a packed stadium, it adds a unique touch that helps the watch face stand out from traditional sports-themed designs.
Kick It is available free of charge through Facer for smartwatches running Wear OS 6 or newer. This basically covers all recent Galaxy Watches. Install the Facer app on your watch and connected smartphone, and search for Kick It (or use this link).
That said, there’s a big catch here: the watch face is only available in select markets. Supported regions include the United States, Canada, Japan, and the United Kingdom. A wider rollout in the rest of Europe is reportedly planned, but a global release may not be on the cards.
