Samsung’s 2025 foldable lineup may be just a couple of months away. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 in the first half of July. While the widely-rumored “affordable” model, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, may not debut at the same event, early details about its potential pricing have started to surface.

Tipster shares Galaxy Z Flip FE’s potential launch price

Samsung is rumored to price the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 similarly to their respective predecessors. The Fold model may start at $1,899, while the Flip may cost $1,099 for its base variant. This pricing structure looks fairly reasonable when you consider rising costs and other factors like incoming reciprocal tariffs from the US government.

Just a few days back, Motorola launched its latest clamshell foldable flagship, the Moto Razr Ultra, with a starting price of $1,299. This pricing makes Samsung’s Flip 7 look like a steal, as long as it debuts with an unchanged price tag. The deal looks even sweeter for the Galaxy Z Flip FE if its rumored price turns out to be accurate.

According to X user Anthony (@TheGalox_), Samsung is targeting a starting price of $799 for its so-called affordable foldable. While that pricing may not look affordable, we are talking about folding phones, which are still far from mainstream. The Flip FE would be the first Galaxy foldable with a sub-$1,000 price tag.

We call it a sweet deal because this model is shaping up to be an upgraded Flip 6, featuring a newer chip and the latest software experience. The latter is still a very capable folding phone, and the Flip FE builds upon it. At $799, it may be the perfect phone to start with for anyone looking to enter the foldable space without shelling out over a thousand dollars. Stay tuned for more updates about this phone.
