Samsung is readying the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and Tab Active 5 Pro. The official support pages for both upcoming rugged devices recently went live, and you probably know what that means. Yep, their launch seems just around the corner. Right around that, we may now have our very first look at the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, as its render and full specs have just leaked
Alleged Galaxy XCover 7 Pro official render is here ahead of launch!
According to the render shared by YTECHB, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro appears to feature two rear cameras, which may be 50MP + 8MP, according to Android Headlines. Thatโs a step up from last yearโs Galaxy XCover 7, which only had a single 5MP rear camera. The camera layout also seems to have changed, with the LED flash now sitting next to the dual-camera setup.
The render also shows that the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro has an outward cutout, unlike its predecessor. The SAMSUNG branding stays in place. We can also spot that it uses the same wallpaper as the previous model, but the battery icon hints itโs running One UI 7.0. Aside from that, there arenโt any noticeable design changes.
We also know that the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro might pack a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. In all fairness, thatโs not exactly the top-of-the-line processor. But then again, these devices cater to a niche crowd that values ruggedness over raw power. On top of that, Android Headlines reports that it will feature a 6.6-inch LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate.
It will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. It may also include a 4,350mAh battery with 15W charging, which was previously tipped, too. Just like the XCover 7, itโll reportedly carry the MIL-STD-810H US military-grade certification. The report adds that it might be priced at around โฌ599 (~$655).
