The Galaxy S25 series has been making waves, and rightly so. The new Samsung flagships have a got going for them. One standout feature being discussed online is the addition of more detailed battery information in the Settings app. Users can view in-depth stats, like precise charge cycles, battery health percentage, and even manufacture date. However, not everyone seems to have access to this feature.
Samsung might still be working on Galaxy S25’s battery health info
Shortly after Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, images showing the Ultra model’s battery information page surfaced online. It showed detailed information, including the first used data alongside the aforementioned stats. However, this feature isn’t available everywhere, it seems. We are currently using a carrier-locked Galaxy S25 Ultra and the feature is missing.
Android expert Mishaal Rahman confirms its unavailability on US unlocked and Indian units. This discrepancy suggests Samsung might be still working on detailed battery information. The S25 Ultra captured showing the new feature likely runs an updated version of One UI 7.0. Samsung could roll it out to users globally with a new update in the coming days. We expect the first Galaxy S25 update to roll out before the end of January.\
If this detailed battery info eventually becomes widely available, it will be a game-changer for those keen on tracking their device’s longevity and usage patterns. Samsung should soon start shipping Galaxy S25 pre-orders. Many buyers might receive a new software update out of the box.
