Galaxy S25 Ultra Case Leak Confirms its Rear Design

by | Dec 19, 2024 | Galaxy S, News

With only a month left until the official launch, Galaxy S25 leaks have picked up pace. Earlier this week, we saw the first real-life photos of the Plus model, followed by leaked renders revealing the stock wallpapers for the Plus and Ultra. Now, a third-party case maker has revealed the rear design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Galaxy S25 Ultra design surfaces in Spigen case leak

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra on January 22, 2025. While the company hasn’t officially announced the date, it looks set in stone. The upcoming flagships have already entered mass production. This also means case makers have started producing protective covers for the devices.

Spigen, one of the popular names in this industry, appears to have ramped up its preparations for the Galaxy S25 series. Its Liquid Crystal transparent case for the Ultra model recently surfaced in a leak, revealing the phone’s rear design. An image shared on X confirms slightly curved corners and an identical camera array. The image is quite blurry, so it isn’t entirely clear if Samsung has redesigned the camera rings.

The leaked Spigen case for the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with its MagFit technology, i.e., it boasts a magnetic ring for MagSafe accessories. Rumors suggest Samsung will support Qi2 charging on the Galaxy S25 series. However, it won’t adopt Apple’s MagSafe technology (won’t offer built-in magnets on the back), which is an optional Qi2 feature for magnetic alignment and accessory support.

Cases with built-in magnets can enable this feature, allowing users to attach accessories like wallets. Samsung itself appears to be making a magnetic case for the Galaxy S25 series.
