Samsung updates Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Manager app with Buds 3 design
As spotted by @TechKhaled_ on X, Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Manager, bringing it to version 7.0.25022451. This update introduces refreshed icons and a redesigned user interface inspired by the Galaxy Buds 3 series, which also picked up a stability update a couple of weeks ago.
Additionally, Samsung has added blur support for the widget in One UI 7, improving its visual appeal and integration with the updated system aesthetics. The update enhances both the app and widget, making them more in line with Samsung’s evolving design language. Users running One UI 6 will notice that the widget still lacks the new blur effect, but it will be updated once you move to One UI 7.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Android 15-based update will be available to eligible Galaxy devices starting in April. If you use a pair of Galaxy Buds with your Galaxy smartphone, expect UI updates for your Buds Manage app too. The new version of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Manager app is already rolling out widely.
Samsung has a new pair of wireless earbuds in the pipeline
The Korean firm unveiled the Galaxy Buds 3 series alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in July 2024. It is now working on a new pair of affordable buds, the Galaxy Buds FE 2. The upcoming pair will succeed the Buds FE launched in late 2023. It could go official later this year, potentially alongside the seventh-gen foldables in July.
