Samsung prepares major UI overhaul with One UI 7.0, leaks confirm
One UI 7.0 is widely reported to bring major changes to Samsung’s custom Android software. In fact, leaks so far have already revealed a massive UI overhaul and animation upgrades. The company has also redesigned its first-party apps to complement the rest of the UI changes, with app icons getting a matching makeover. Recent leaks show the new icons for several apps, including Calendar, Reminder, Tips, Calculator, and Voice Recorder.
As you can see, One UI 7.0 introduces more vibrant app icons. The new design looks fresh and modern, something Samsung aims to deliver across the system with the upcoming update. These leaks suggest Samsung has ramped up internal testing of its Android 15 update for Galaxy devices. It could be gearing up for the beta release, which may begin in December. The last time we heard about it, the beta program was said to open in mid-December, with the Galaxy S24 series getting it first. Samsung may or may not launch beta programs for other models.
