After the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has released One UI 7 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in Europe. The 2024 foldables are receiving the Android 15 update widely across the continent, not just limited to beta users. The US release for these devices should begin soon.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 get One UI 7 in Europe

The One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 carries the firmware build number F956BXXU2BYCK. That for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is F741BXXU2BYCJ. Both devices are getting massive OTA (over the air) files weighing more than 5GB, with the package including the April security patch. The Galaxy S24 series received a similar update (the file size is smaller for beta users).

Samsung began the One UI 7 stable rollout on April 7. However, the company’s initial release was limited to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, and Fold SE in its home country, South Korea. It promised to roll out the update in Europe and the US on April 10, and it delivered. These devices (except for the Fold SE, which didn’t launch beyond Korea and China) are now receiving One UI 7 widely in Europe.

Samsung will soon release this update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 in the US. The company plans a global rollout starting April 14. If you are using any of these devices, head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for updates manually. Since this is a massive update, you might want to use an unmetered Wi-Fi network to avoid unwanted data charges.

The Korean firm has already announced that the Galaxy S23 and a few other devices will receive One UI 7 before the end of April. However, it won’t complete the rollout for all eligible smartphones and tablets until June. So, depending on the device you use, you may have to wait a few days, weeks, or months for One UI 7.
