Samsung has released One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S23 series. The first beta update is now available for the 2023 flagship lineup in all four supported countries, i.e., the UK, the US, India, and South Korea. The Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy A55 will also receive beta updates later this month.
Galaxy S23 series grabs its first One UI 7.0 beta update
The first One UI 7.0 beta build for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra comes with the firmware build number ZYC3. The OTA package for the Ultra model weighs nearly 4.7GB, which is typical for a major OS update. The package also includes the March 2025 security patch, which addresses over 50 vulnerabilities.
But more importantly, it brings a myriad of new features, UI changes, and functional upgrades. One UI 7.0 is arguably the biggest OS update from Samsung. The company aims to redefine the Galaxy experience with this update, and it has succeeded to a great extent. Smoother system animations, AI enhancements, and other feature upgrades improve your overall mobile experience.
If you use a Galaxy S23 phone and live in any of the four aforementioned countries, you can register for One UI 7.0 beta through the Samsung members app. Look for a banner about the beta program, tap on it, and follow on-screen instructions to complete the registration. After that, head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install to install the update.
Samsung has already confirmed that the stable One UI 7.0 build will be available in April. But ahead of that, the company could roll out one more beta build to the Galaxy S23 series. Beta updates are also available for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy S24 series. The latter has received four beta builds, while the foldables picked up their first beta update last week.
