Samsung is here with another One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. The 2024 flagships are picking up Beta 6 with a bunch of new features. The update is widely available in Korea, India, the US, and other regions. It should be the final beta release for the S24 trio.
One UI 7 Beta 6 is available for the Galaxy S24 series
Yesterday, Samsung rolled out One UI 7 Beta 3 to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 with several new features from the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S24 lineup is now getting those features with its sixth beta update. The latest beta release comes with the build version ZYCE and weighs around 1.2GB, depending on the model and region.
Among the new feature additions is Google Gemini support for the side button. You can now press and hold the power button to invoke Gemini instead of Bixby. You have to manually switch to Google’s digital assistant from Settings though. By default, you still get Bixby, which isn’t the case on the Galaxy S25.
Transcriptions are now available for your call recordings, while Samsung also finally brings Audio Eraser to the Galaxy S24 series. Introduced with the Galaxy S25, this AI tool lets you remove unwanted noise from videos. How cool is that? Additionally, Galaxy S24 users with One UI 7 Beta 6 can create custom stickers and share them with friends.
This update also introduces an AI-powered web page summarization tool. Last but not least, One UI 7 lets you search for various settings using natural language commands. If you want to adjust the display settings to make it easy on your eyes, you can simply say “My eyes are hurting” rather than the specific setting title or description.
On top of this, Samsung has addressed several bugs and UI inconsistencies, including the battery animation, media controller UI errors, widget overlapping issues, and more. This might be the final One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series before the stale rollout. Samsung has already announced that the stable release will begin on April 7, though it doesn’t arrive in the US until April 10.
