Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout continues to expand across more Galaxy smartphones. After reaching several Galaxy A and Galaxy M series models earlier, the company has now started pushing the update to a wide range of Galaxy F series devices. The Galaxy F56, F54, F36, F34, and F17 are picking up One UI 8 widely, with more to follow soon.

One UI 8 expands to Samsung’s Galaxy F series

The latest update brings Android 16 along with Samsung’s refreshed One UI 8 interface, introducing smoother animations, improved multitasking, and new Galaxy AI features. The company has already updated most of its eligible Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series flagships. Several budget and mid-range models have also received this update in recent days, including a few Galaxy F models.

Now, One UI 8 is rolling out widely to the Galaxy F56, F54, F36, F34, and F17 in India and select other markets. The rollout should expand further in the coming days. Depending on the region and carrier, the firmware version may vary slightly, but users across supported devices are receiving similar feature upgrades and security fixes.

One UI 8 refines Samsung’s user experience with a cleaner layout, improved privacy controls, and better integration with Google’s latest Android enhancements. Galaxy AI continues to be a central focus, with smarter text suggestions, enhanced translation features, and new on-device intelligence tools. Battery management and system performance have also been fine-tuned, ensuring smoother day-to-day usage across both mid-range and premium Galaxy models.

If you own one of the supported Galaxy F series phones, you can check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The rollout is happening in stages, so it may take a few days before it reaches all users. Other eligible models will receive One UI 8 in the coming days.
