Samsung looks all set to release One UI 7.0 beta soon. While an official launch date is still missing, the company has dropped numerous hunts lately, even prematurely revealing some new features and UI changes. It is internally testing the big update for several phones. We have already seen test firmware for dozens of flagship and mid-range models. The Galaxy A54’s One UI 7.0 test build recently appeared on Samsung’s server.
Samsung accelerates One UI 7.0 testing with the Galaxy A54
Over the past few weeks, Samsung has uploaded One UI 7.0 test firmware for the Galaxy S24, S23, S22, S21, recent foldables, and several mid-range models, including the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A55. The Galaxy A54 also recently joined the party. X user @tarunvats33 spotted the first test build for the 2023 premium mid-range models, bearing the firmware version A546BXXUBDXKA.
According to the source, Samsung is actively testing One UI 7.0 on the European variant of the Galaxy A54. More specifically, in Poland. It is one of the seven countries where the Korean firm is expected to launch One UI 7.0 beta programs, including India, China, South Korea, Germany, the UK, and the US.
Samsung usually rolls out beta programs for some mid-range models. However, considering this year’s delay, we aren’t sure if the One UI 7.0 beta will be available widely beyond recent flagships. Even if it does, the Korean firm is expected to prioritize flagships in the initial beta rollout. It may include mid-range devices like the Galaxy A54 later.
Reports suggest beta programs could begin in mid-December, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. As usual, users in supported regions will be able to join the beta via the Samsung Members app. Galaxy fans can look forward to more information about One UI 7.0 in the coming days as Samsung expands its testing to include a wider range of devices.
