One UI 7.0 Voice Recorder and Reminder Apps Leaked (APK Download)

by | Nov 28, 2024 | News, One UI, Samsung Apps

One UI 7.0 may not be here yet, but you can already get a taste of it thanks to leaks. Updated versions of Samsung’s Voice Recorder and Reminder apps meant to go live with One UI 7.0 have been leaked early, letting you check out the refreshed design and new features. You can install these apps on your Galaxy phone from the links below.

Samsung’s One UI 7.0 apps are already available for download

Earlier today, X user @GerwinvGiessen shared updated One UI 7.0 icons and screenshots for several Samsung apps, including Calendar, Tips, Calculator, Reminder, and Voice Recorder. They have since shared the APK for the latter two, revealing the whole app before Samsung dropped One UI 7.0 beta. We have installed the apps on devices running One UI 6.1 and One UI 6.1.1, and they are working fine.

Voice Recorder sees minor UI adjustments that enhance its overall look and functionality. In the recordings list, the Play button has been repositioned to the right, while the recording duration and timestamp have swapped places for better clarity. The core recorder interface and the built-in player, including its expanded view, remain largely unchanged.

A standout new feature in the Voice Recorder app is the ability to move recordings to the Secure Folder. This option is accessible from both the player interface and the main recordings list, making it convenient to secure sensitive audio files. Meanwhile, the Settings menu remains mostly unchanged from its One UI 6.1.1 iteration, retaining a familiar layout for users.

We haven’t noticed anything substantial in Samsung’s Reminder app for One UI 7.0. It’s possible that the leaked version is still in development and only includes the updated icon. If you’re eager to try these apps early, you can download them from APKMirror. Be cautious when sideloading apps from third-party sources. While APKMirror is generally considered safe, installing apps from unverified platforms can expose your device to security risks.
