Which Samsung Galaxy Phones Will Support Gemini Intelligence?

Google has announced the next big thing in the mobile AI experience: Gemini Intelligence. As you might expect, Samsung is preparing to bring Gemini Intelligence to Galaxy phones. It focuses on smarter on-device tools, including improved voice typing, contextual suggestions, and dynamic widgets. However, not every Galaxy phone will qualify, even if it’s relatively new or expensive.
These Samsung Galaxy phones will likely get Gemini Intelligence
The biggest requirement is support for Gemini Nano v3, Google’s latest on-device AI model. It powers many of the advanced features in Gemini Intelligence. Older devices, including some recent foldables, still run Nano v2, which means they may miss out on the full experience.
According to current information on a developer page (h/t AssembleDebug on X), the Galaxy S26 series will fully support Gemini Intelligence, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. These devices feature newer chipsets and enough memory to meet Google’s requirements for next-generation AI features.
Samsung’s upcoming foldables are also likely to support Gemini Intelligence. The Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide could launch with the required hardware. Some even suggest Samsung could debut Gemini Intelligence on these foldables before Google brings it to Pixel devices.
However, devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z TriFold may not qualify immediately. Despite being premium phones, they currently lack support for Gemini Nano v3. Unless Samsung and Google enable support through software updates, these devices could remain limited.
