Galaxy S24 FE Gets One UI 8.5 Beta 2 Update

What a busy day, Samsung! After opening the One UI 8.5 beta gate for a bunch of Galaxy devices, Samsung’s also rolling out new rounds to others. For instance, the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 have all joined the beta party today. At the same time, Samsung’s rolling out the second round of the One UI 8.5 beta to the Galaxy S24 FE in India.

You can now install the One UI 8.5 Beta 2 on your Galaxy S24 FE in India. The update is rolling out now, and it comes with a bunch of changes and bug fixes, which Samsung has helpfully detailed. The build version in question is S721BXXUBZZD5, and the update size is around 662.70 MB (h/t Tarun Vats!). It also comes with the latest April 2026 security update, which brings plenty of fixes of its own.

To get the second One UI 8.5 beta running on your Galaxy S24 FE, you’ll need to be based in India. Head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Wait for the update file to download, and once that’s done, tap Install now. It’ll take a little while to install, and after that, your phone will reboot running the latest available beta firmware.
