Samsung is actively rolling out the Galaxy Ring to more markets worldwide. Recently, the ring became available in Brazil and Mexico. Now, the company has announced its launch in two major European markets: the Netherlands and Belgium. The Galaxy Ring may arrive in more countries in the coming weeks.

Samsung launches the Galaxy Ring in the Netherlands and Belgium

The Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s first foray into smart rings. Introduced on July 10, it was initially available in only a few select markets. It’s unclear whether the company had limited stock or if it was unsure how the market would respond to the ring. Either way, it appears Samsung is now ready to release it on a larger scale. Customers in the Netherlands and Belgium can now purchase the Galaxy Ring.

Samsung is releasing all three colors of the wearable in these European countries: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. The tiny gadget carries a price tag of €449, the same as other markets in the region — the Galaxy Ring costs $399 in the US. Its specs and features also remain the same as those offered elsewhere. The ring offers extensive health monitoring features.

The Galaxy Ring comes in nine different sizes (US sizes 5 to 13). While there are rumors that two additional sizes (14 and 15) may be added soon, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything. If this happens, the ring will be available in 11 sizes in both the Netherlands and Belgium. For those unsure of their ring size, Samsung provides an official sizing kit, which includes samples of all nine sizes.

While the feature set remains the same across all sizes, the battery capacity varies. It’s 17mAh for sizes 5 to 7, 18.5mAh for sizes 8 to 11, and 22.5mAh for sizes 12 and 13. The charging case includes a 361mAh battery. Samsung touts the ring to last up to seven days on a single charge. A full charge from 0 takes about 80 minutes. The Galaxy RIng may launch in more markets soon.
