Leaked Galaxy S25+ Renders Show Off Subtle Design Tweaks

by | Sep 18, 2024 | Galaxy S, News

After glimpses of the Galaxy S25 and its beefier sibling, the S25 Ultra, it’s finally time for the middle child to shine. The first set of leaked 3D renders of Samsung’s Galaxy S25+ give us a sneak peek at its design. While it stays true to the familiar look, a few subtle changes add some fresh appeal.

Leaked Galaxy S25+ renders reveal a familiar design

As you might expect, the Galaxy S25+ looks like a bigger S25. It has an identical curvature in corners and a familiar rear camera array with three lenses stacked vertically. The top glass of the camera rings have been redesigned to match the Fold 6, though rumors suggest Samsung hasn’t finalized this look. The company is expected to keep the same design across the Galaxy S25 lineup.

This only applies to the top glass, though. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ may sport double-layered camera rings for a floating effect. While the newly leaked renders from Onleaks and Android Headlines lack these details, earlier leaks gave us a sneak peek at this design. The S25 Ultra, meanwhile, sticks with its signature camera layout and ring design. The only potential change, still unconfirmed, is the top glass.

The Galaxy S25+ may have a dimension of 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3 mm, compared to the S24+’s 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7 mm. The new phone is marginally narrower and thinner than its predecessor. It still packs a 6.7-inch (6.65-inch) display. Samsung is keeping the battery capacity unchanged too (4,900mAh). The other Galaxy S25 models are getting similar design improvements for a thinner and more compact build.

Samsung should unveil the new flagships in early 2025, possibly within the first couple of weeks in January. Pre-orders are expected to begin immediately after launch, with sales starting a few days later. If you plan to buy the phones, you might be interested in our mystery box program.
