Samsung’s One UI 7.0 stable build continues to face delays. Even as the company’s new Galaxy S25 series and the sub-$110 Galaxy F06 5G ship with the latest stable version. After the Galaxy S24 FE surprisingly received One UI 7.0 via RTL, the update has now been spotted running on the Galaxy A15 via Samsung’s Remote Test Lab (RTL).
You can try One UI 7.0 on the Galaxy A15 via RTL
A Reddit user first discovered that the Galaxy A15 is now live on Samsung’s RTL with One UI 7.0. The shared screenshot shows the device running firmware version A155FXXUSCYB1. It’s running the October 2024 Google Play security patch.
In another Reddit post, the background blur effect appears missing on the Galaxy A15 running via RTL. This could be due to limitations of running a virtual device rather than an issue with One UI 7.0 on Galaxy A15 itself.

Additionally, a separate Reddit post shows the Now Bar in Lock Screen settings, though it is greyed out. While this could be a limitation of the virtual testing environment, some rumors suggest that Samsung may restrict Now Bar functionality on A-series devices due to hardware constraints. Specifically, it could be because of potential conflicts with the under-display fingerprint scanner placement.
Just two weeks ago, the Galaxy S24 FE was also spotted running One UI 7.0 via Remote Test Lab. It had firmware version S721BXXU3BYA2 but was already on the January 2025 security patch, creating some confusion about Samsung’s update timeline.
Regardless, these findings confirm that Samsung is actively working on the One UI 7.0 rollout for all eligible devices. With the Galaxy A15 now appearing in RTL, we may see a wider rollout for mid-range models sooner than expected.
