As we get closer to the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its siblings making debut at Galaxy Unpacked, we’ve got some not-so-great news. We’ve seen a bigger chunk of the Galaxy S25 Ultra specs, but there’s still a chance more could be in the works. And with more news, there might be a bit of disappointment too. One such letdown is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature an S Pen. But sadly, without Bluetooth capabilities.
Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen will lack Bluetooth support
Tipster Ishaan Agarwal, who’s built quite the reputation for accurate leaks, shared this on X. According to Agarwal, the S Pen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t have Bluetooth, citing retail sources. This means features like remote control and gesture-based commands, which have been key to the S Pen experience in recent models, won’t make the cut. While Agarwal has a solid track record with these leaks, you should still take this with a grain of salt. Whatever’s coming will be officially confirmed during the launch.
Exclusive: S Pen on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will no longer feature Bluetooth according to retail sources!
Which means you will lose certain features like gestures & remote control.

The absence of Bluetooth in the S Pen means users will lose the ability to perform tasks like controlling presentations, taking photos, and navigating through apps using air gestures. These features have been popular among users. Moreover, some reports also suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may not include a dedicated slot for the S Pen. Which was introduced with the Galaxy Note series and retained in recent Galaxy S Ultra models.
Furthermore, Samsung will include Qi2 magsafe compatibility on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and its siblings. It could be possible that Bluetooth was sacrificed to make this possible. While Bluetooth’s absence on S Pen slot may disappoint some users, Galaxy S25 Ultra will still come with a bang. As the official launch approaches, more details are expected to emerge. Stay tuned and keep an eye out for more updates.
