One UI 7 Update Delayed by a Week or More in These Regions

Samsung has officially announced the rollout schedule for One UI 7, based on Android 15. The big update with AI-driven enhancements hits the stable channel on April 7. However, it won’t be a global release. The company recently revealed that US Galaxy users will receive the update starting April 10. In some other markets, the wait could be longer, possibly a week or more.

Samsung’s One UI 7 update will have a staggered global rollout, here’s the timeline

The One UI 7 rollout will begin on April 7, in South Korea. Samsung has also confirmed that most European countries will receive the update “shortly after” the Korean release, likely on the same day. However, users in the US and Canada will experience a slight delay, with the update going live in North America on April 10.

Adding to the staggered release, Samsung Malaysia and Samsung Singapore have now confirmed an even later rollout for the region. One UI 7 will officially launch in these countries on April 14, a full week after South Korea. Other markets in the region may face similar or even longer delays, making the wait especially frustrating for Galaxy users eagerly anticipating the update.

Of course, not all Galaxy devices will receive One UI 7 on day one. Initially, the update will be available for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Subsequent rollouts will include devices such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S10 series. Samsung will gradually expand the update to other eligible phones and tablets.
