Samsung has released a new update for its Keys Cafe app, bringing improved stability and several bug fixes. This update enhances compatibility with One UI 7, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience for Galaxy S25 users. The new version should soon be available globally.
Keys Cafe app update improves stability for smoother keyboard customizations
Keys Cafe, a part of Samsung’s Good Lock suite, allows users to personalize their keyboard layout, themes, and effects. With the One UI 7 update, the company introduced a major UI overhaul and functional upgrades across Good Lock, including Keys Cafe. Unsurprisingly, a few bugs sneaked in, causing various issues.
With this latest update (version 1.7.00.11), Samsung aims to provide a more polished and seamless Keys Cafe experience for Galaxy users, particularly for those running One UI 7 — besides the Galaxy S25 series, One UI 7 is available in beta for the Galaxy S24, S23, Fold 6, Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10.
The update isn’t just about general performance improvements, but it also addresses multiple known bugs. Samsung says it fixed occasional app crashes, ensuring better stability during use. Users who noticed their themed keyboard appearing in an outdated version will no longer face this issue, as Samsung has corrected it in this update.
Additionally, a problem where badges were displayed incorrectly in the keyboard editing screen has been resolved. The update also includes various UI and operational enhancements to refine the overall experience. The new version of Keys Cafe is gradually rolling out through the Galaxy Store, so users should check for the latest version if they haven’t received it yet.
If you are unsure how to check for updates, you have three simple ways to do it. Firstly, launch Good Lock, go to the Plugins tab, and see if Keys Cafe has received an update. Alternatively, launch Galaxy Store and search for Keys Cafe. You can also go to the Menu tab in Galaxy Store (bottom left) and tap Updates to see all available app updates. Finally, open this link on your Galaxy phone to land on Keys Cafe’s Galaxy Store listing.
